How is AKXinternet installed?
The installation for AKXinternet is done in three steps and may take up to 2 hours.
- Step 1 – Exterior Installation: Installation begins by mounting a small radio to the rooftop of your home/building. (~1 hour)
- Step 2 – Interior Installation: Once the radio is installed, our technician will install interior wiring to connect the radio to the modem/router. This step requires access inside your home. (~30 minutes)
- Step 3 – Network Configuration: Lastly, our team will set up your network, provide instructions for connecting your devices and will be available to answer any additional questions. (~30 minutes)
If a radio is already installed on your home/building, exterior installation will not be required. We will however need to complete interior installation and network configuration.
If renting, do I need to get landlord permission before installing AKXinternet?
Yes, if you are renting you will need to get permission from your landlord to install AKXinternet. We require landlord approval before we make modifications to the building.
